Five interconnected novels set in and around Prescott, Arizona, following a growing circle of women and men whose lives meet through Qigong, sound healing, acupuncture, friendship, grief, love, and the creation of a community-centered healing space known as The Center.
Set against the landscape of Prescott, Awakening follows Nora, a nurse whose introduction to Qigong gradually changes the direction of her life. As she moves toward becoming a Qigong instructor, her friendship with Tessa and an unexpected relationship with Rowan become part of a larger journey into a life she hadn’t imagined.

Tessa is a successful, well-known author carrying the grief of losing her parents when a growing fascination with sound healing opens a new path. Set in Prescott through autumn and the Christmas season, Resonance follows her exploration of sound, healing, friendship, grief, and her developing relationship with Travis.

Esme is a former nurse, acupuncturist, and herbalist whose knowledge is rooted partly in what she learned from her abuela. As she navigates the grief of miscarriage and her relationship with Jesse, she joins Nora and Tessa in creating The Center, a healing space in downtown Prescott where their individual paths finally converge.

Jake is a Prescott-area cowboy whose ranch and steady presence become part of the expanding world surrounding The Center. Set during a summer of monsoon storms, Presence follows Jake and Jenny as their relationship develops and Jenny begins her own journey toward becoming a Qigong instructor.

After firefighter Storm is injured on the job, he comes to Prescott to stay at the home of his aunt Teresa, the wise elder within the women’s growing community. There he meets Mara, who works at The Center and is deeply skeptical of the practices surrounding her, setting in motion a story about healing, relationship, and what can happen when certainty begins to soften.
