About Taja

Taja creates spaces where people can sense, feel, explore, ask questions, and discover through direct experience.

The approach

Body, mind, emotions, energy

Taja’s approach brings together Qigong, embodied awareness, nervous-system regulation, life force and energy, intention, consciousness, and practical ways of exploring the body, mind, emotions, and everyday life.

Taja’s teaching is grounded in curiosity, agency, direct experience, and one steady truth: balance is a practice, not a destination.

How Taja teaches

Taja teaches through experience.

Taja guides movement, breath, awareness, and energy while creating room for each person’s own experience. She asks questions such as “What do you sense and feel?” and invites each person to discover for themselves.

Taja’s classes move between Qigong practice, nervous-system regulation, energy awareness, curiosity, reflection, humor, and the realities of everyday life. People are encouraged to move at their own pace, meet what is present, and develop practices they can carry with them beyond the classroom.

The emphasis is on becoming increasingly aware of your body, your energy, your attention, and how you want to meet the moment.

Background

A path taking shape

Taja’s approach grew through years of caring for people, teaching, writing, practicing, questioning, and exploring the relationship between body, mind, emotions, energy, and consciousness.

Taja’s background includes nursing, cancer coaching, Reiki, sound healing, laughter facilitation, and formal training across several Qigong, Tai Chi, and Dao Yin traditions. Over time, those experiences began to weave together into a broader philosophy and practice centered on balance, awareness, regulation, agency, intention, and direct experience.

The Tajala Method grew from that integration.

Qigong remains one of the primary ways Taja teaches The Tajala Method through the body, while her writing, workshops, classes, and other offerings explore the philosophy more broadly.
